đŹ Quick Answers
When is Halloween 2026?
Saturday, October 31, 2026. Since it falls on a weekend, expect plenty of trunk-or-treats on Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st, plus some the weekend before.
What is a trunk-or-treat?
It’s a community event where families decorate their car trunks and hand out candy in a parking lot instead of going door to door. Churches, schools, and local businesses usually host them. Trunk-or-treats are great for little ones: they’re well lit, and the kids don’t walk far.
Do I need to register?
Most trunk-or-treats are free and open to everyone. Some ask you to register if you want to decorate a trunk. Check each listing for details.
